Another high profile project for PJP

A £290 million investment

Being based in the North West, we pride ourselves on providing the very best service to all clients which include some of the highest profile jobs in the North. 

The A6 MARR stands as another great example of a significant project we have been part of over recent time. 

In 2015 the £290 million investment to provide 10 kilometers of new 2-lane dual carriageway from the A6 to Manchester Airport was well underway and it was a Friday afternoon we received an SOS call from their management team. 

That's how it's done!

Another plant hire company had failed to deliver on a promise to which we were called at extremely short notice and asked to help. Of course, in true PJP style, we reacted immediately, engaging with all corners of our business to achieve a positive outcome and doing what no other company was prepared to say 'yes' to. 

It fell to PJP to achieve the customer's goal and to do this we re-planned our entire Friday work roster and staff had to commit to working overtime to ensure we successfully delivered our promise, all at the drop of a hat. 

Nothing is impossible

It's thanks to that determination to prove nothing is impossible that earnt us a valued place within the A6 MARR supply chain and the opportunity to prove PJP can continue to exceed expectations. 

The client to-date still relies on the 'can do and always does' approach by the entire PJP Team and with the project due to end in the Autumn of 2017, we wish them ongoing success for many projects to come.
